No photo to go on here just a basic description. However it is supposed to be a multiple witness case, so maybe someone else will come forward with more details and maybe even a picture. The couple said it was bus size (30 foot-ish?) and that 'It didn’t look like all those Nessie drawings with the humps – it was just a large, or very large eel.After never believing there was anything in the loch, and no basis for belief in the Loch Ness monster, I would say that perhaps there are large eels in the water – and when they emerge they may look like a monster. I'm inclined to agree with with Mr Sturrock insomuch as that if the monster exists, it is a huge eel.
The hunt for Lake and Sea Monsters is probably the most iconic branch of Cryptozoology. Following our successful Mystery Cat and BHM Study Groups, we feel that these sightings should also be archived and published in a regular round-up of the stories as they come in.
